Apricot honey syrup recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | dried apricots |
700 ml | honey |
700 ml | sugar syrup |
For the sugar syrup: | |
800 g | sugar |
500 ml | water |
Instructions
Making the Sugar Syrup:Combine sugar and water and bring to a boil without stirring for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
Making the Apricot Honey Syrup:
Soak the apricots in water overnight.
Drain off water and process apricots in a blender or food processer until nicely pureed. Add honey and syrup. Mix well and store in refrigerator until needed.
Warm on stove or in microwave. Serve warm.
