Apricot dumplings marillenknoedel recipe details
- Ingredients
- 13 ounces ricotta cheese
- 4 Tablespoons melted butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 9 Tablespoons flour
- pinch of salt
- Apricots
Mix ingredients to smooth dough. Allow to rest half an hour in the refrigerator. Cover fresh apricot with dough (ball with apricot core). Cook in 210 degree (not boiling) water for 15 to 20 minutes.
Saute bread crumbs in butter. Cover finished dumplings with bread crumbs. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with a shaker of powdered sugar.
