Apricot dip recipe details
Ingredients
1 tbsp | cooking oil |
1 piece(s) | onion, finely chopped |
1 large can(s) | apricot, drained and chopped |
salt and pepper to taste | |
1 tbsp | ginger, chopped |
2 tsp | corn flour |
Instructions
Heat cooking oil in a pot and fry the onion until translucent. Add the apricots, season with salt and pepper and ginger and simmer for about 5 minutes.Thicken the sauce with cornflour mixed to a paste with water and simmer for further 5 minutes.
Cool before serving.
Variation:Use crushed pineapple instead if apricots.
