1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 to 1/2 cup milk

Fruit: Section fruit slices. If using apples, make wedges. Apricots or pineapple rings (canned) are also very good. Place in rows along dough in pan. Melt 1/8 stick butter and pour over fruit. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over fruit. Cook at 325 degrees (low oven) for about 20 minutes. Now you have a wonderful open fruitcake. Enjoy!
