Anna's praline french toast recipe details
- Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 6 slices white sandwich bread
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 stick of butter
Mix first two ingredients together. Place bread slices in a greased 9 x 11 dish and cover with egg mixture. Refrigerate overnight. The next morning, melt butter in a saute pan. Add sugar and syrup; stir in the chopped pecans. Pour pecan mixture over the bread and bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes. The pecan topping should be set and the bread still soft and fluffy.
