Ingredients

600 g fresh salmon fillet
2  lemons, the juice thereof
2 tbsp green pepper
2  shallots, very finely chopped
olive oil
salt
fresh dill, chopped, optional

Instructions

With a very sharp knife, cut the salmon in wafer-thin slices and arrange side by side on a large flat serving platter.

Sprinkle the lemon juice generously all over the salmon, then let it rest for 10 – 15 minutes. Season with salt, then distribute the shallots and green pepper evenly onto the salmon. To finish, sprinkle with olive oil to taste. Then, if wished, add the dill as a finishing touch.

Note:
The salmon is easier to cut, if you pop it into the freezer for some time.
