INGREDIENTS:Serves 2
1 Chinese pear (shui li)
3 American ginseng (hua qi shen)
6 candied dates(jin si mi zao)
10g tendrilled fritillary bulb(chuan zhu bei)
Rock sugar to taste
Method:
- Cut pear into halves. Remove the core and cut each half into fours.
- Put the pear and all other ingredients into a porcelain double boiler. Pour in water to cover all ingredients.
- Put the double boiler into a slow cooker that has already been filled with boiled water. Cover double boiler and slow cooker. Double boil for 3-4 hours.
