American banana pudding recipe details
Ingredients
1 | pack vanilla pudding, cook & serve |
500 ml | milk |
3 | bananas |
300 g | vanilla wafers |
200 ml | whipping cream or whipped topping |
Instructions
Cook vanilla pudding using 500 ml milk (unless package calls for different amount) and the amount of sugar called for an the package. Pour into bowl and let cool. Make sure you stir it frequently so it stays smooth.Peel the bananas and slice into disks. Layer as follows into a serving dish: 1 layer of wafers, bananas, pudding, etc. until all ingredients are used up.
Top with whipped cream or topping. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Can be refrigerated over night, but the wafers can get soggy.
