Agape's granola recipe details
- Ingredients
- 6 cups whole oats
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut
- 2 cups oat bran or wheat germ
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup canola oil
- 1 cup maple syrup (or honey for variety)
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
This recipe was graciously given to us by our good friends, Mark and Monica.
In a large bowl, combine oats, coconut, oat bran or wheat germ, sunflower seeds, and raisins. In a separate bowl, combine water, oil, syrup or honey, vanilla, and salt. “Lump” these two mixture together and spread thinly onto cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated 250-degree oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
