
Abigail’s sour cream and dill scones
Abigail’s Sour Cream and Dill Scones recipe
- Ingredients:
- 4 cups flour
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 Tablespoons dill
Instructions:
Mix dry ingredients, then cut butter into the flour. Mix wet ingredients separately, then combine with dry ingredients. Knead briefly; roll out until 1 inch thick. Cut out 2-inch round scones; brush with egg yolk. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
