Zesty minced meat roll recipe details
Ingredients
60 g | bacon, finely diced |
250 g | mushrooms, sliced |
1 bunch(es) | spring onions, sliced |
2 tbsp | oil |
salt and pepper | |
1 clove(s) | garlic, mashed |
1 bunch(es) | parsley, chopped |
800 g | minced meat |
2 tbsp | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tsp | hot paprika powder |
1 | onion, chopped |
some | butter |
Instructions
Stir-fry the bacon until crispy. Add the mushrooms and the spring onions and cook for some minutes. Take from heat, stir in the parsley and season with salt and pepper.Mix the mince with garlic, Worcestershire sauce, onions and paprika powder. Season with salt and pepper.
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Place the mince onto a rectangle of plastic wrap and flatten. Divide evenly the mushroom and bacon mixture on the meat. Roll up with help of the plastic wrap – but don’t wrap. Seal the ends. Carefully transfer the mince roll into a buttered casserole dish. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Serve with fresh salad and baguette.
