Yoghurt waffles with berries recipe details
Ingredients
600 g | fresh or frozen berries |
8 tbsp | honey |
2 | egg whites |
80 g | butter |
4 tbsp | sugar |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
250 g | flour |
2 tsp | baking powder |
250 g | yoghurt |
4 tbsp | oats |
10 tbsp | sparkling water |
1 tsp | oil |
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together the berries and 2 tablespoons of honey. Set aside.Whisk the egg whites until stiff. Mix together the sugar, salt, flour, yoghurt, baking powder, oats and 10 tablespoons of sparkling water. Fold in the beaten egg whites.
Coat the waffle iron with oil. Heat the iron and ladle a spoonful of batter onto the iron for each waffle. Bake the waffles until crispy.
Arrange the waffles on plates, drizzle with honey and serve with the berries.
