Yee ha texas chili recipe details
A family favorite which has won me several prizes.
Ready in: 3 hours
Ingredients
Serves: 10- 3 pounds ground beef
- 1 pound maple sausage
- 1 tablespoon Emeril Original(R) seasoning
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 cans chili beans
- 1 (14 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Heinz(R) ketchup, or to taste
- 1/4 cup Chardonnay wine, or to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 30 mins | Cook: 2 hours 30 mins1. Cook beef, sausage, Emeril Original seasoning, green pepper, onion, and garlic together until meat is done and onions and green peppers are somewhat tender.
2. Add remaining seasonings, canned ingredients (undrained), and Parmesan cheese; add Heinz, and slowly add Chardonnay.
3. Cook slowly for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Serve warm or hot.
