Ingredients
250 g | rump steak |
5 | Thai shallots, thinly sliced |
10 | chili peppers (Thai, prik kee noo), minced, take less if you can’t eat too hot |
4 tbsp | mint leaves |
3 sprig(s) | Thai sellerie, minced |
3 sprig(s) | Thai spring onions, minced |
½ | cucumber, sliced |
1 | tomato, cut into wedges |
some | lettuce leaaves, torn into pieces |
2 tbsp | roasted rice powder |
For the Dressing: | |
5 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
5 tbsp | fish sauce |
5 tbsp | lemon juice |
1 tsp | palm sugar |
5 sprig(s) | cilantro, chopped |
Instructions
Grill or pan-fry the meat until medium done, then slice into thin pieces.Mix all ingredients for the dressing.
Combine all other ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Add the dressing, toss, transfer to a plate and serve with some rice.
This dish can also be part of a Thai meal, for example in addition to a curry or soup and a stir-fry.
