Ingredients
Serves: 8- 4 large baking potatoes
- 1/4 cup real bacon bits
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 8 green onions, sliced
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 1 hour 15 mins1. Preheat grill to 375 degrees F, or Medium.
2. Place potatoes on grill and close lid. Grill for 1 hour. Then remove from heat and let cool just until you can touch them comfortably, about 10 minutes. Cut them open and remove the cooked potato flesh.
3. In a mixing bowl, whip the potato flesh, sour cream, milk, butter, salt, pepper, 2/3 cup cheese, and 4 of the chopped green onions. Then replace in the potato skins, sprinkle with cheese, green onions, and bacon, and return to the grill.
4. Grill with the lid closed for 15 minutes more.
