Winter sausage soup recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | Italian sausage, but into chunks |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
150 g | carrots, peeled, sliced |
800 g | canned tomatoes |
4 medium | potatoes |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | brown sugar |
1 kg | cabbage, shredded |
100 g | egg noodles, cooked |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Place all ingredients, except sausage, cabbage and noodles in a large pot or saucepan. Add enough water and bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.Add sausage chunks, cabbage and noodles and cook for further 15 minutes.
