Ingredients
Serves: 4- Assorted apples, halved and chopped into thin wedges
- 1 cup white wine
- Assorted lettuce greens (such as Iceberg, red leaf, boston, and chicory or raddiccio)
- Toasted almonds
- Poppy seeds
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup half and half
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 10 mins | Extra time: 20 mins, soaking1. Place apples in glass container and splash white wine to soak. Soaking prevents the apples from turning brown. Soak to taste, or about 20 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, toast almonds in a skillet over medium heat until browned around the edges, about 2 minutes.
