Toasted Almond and Wine Soaked Apples served on top of lettuce greens with a Honey-Cream Cheese, poppy seed dressing.

Ingredients
Serves: 4
- Assorted apples, halved and chopped into thin wedges
- 1 cup white wine
- Assorted lettuce greens (such as Iceberg, red leaf, boston, and chicory or raddiccio)
- Toasted almonds
- Poppy seeds
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup half and half
Preparation method

1. Place apples in glass container and splash white wine to soak. Soaking prevents the apples from turning brown. Soak to taste, or about 20 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, toast almonds in a skillet over medium heat until browned around the edges, about 2 minutes.
3. To make dressing, pulse honey, half and half, and the wine from the apples in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add poppy seeds. Toss dressing with apples, almonds, and lettuce greens.
