Whole Grain Cereal

- 2-1/2 cups water
- 2 Tablespoons flax seed
- 1/3 cup brown rice
- 1/3 cup wheat berries
- 1/3 cup barley
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1/2 cup raisins
Bring water to a boil and add brown rice, wheat berries and barley. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes. Add the raisins and golden raisins and continue to simmer, covered, for 15 minutes more. Serve.
If cooked ahead, transfer to microwave-safe dishes, cover, and refrigerate until needed. To serve, microwave single servings on high for 1 to 2 minutes.
