Warm apple dessert compote recipe details
Ingredients
2 | Braeburn apples, cored and cut into wedges |
1 tsp | butter |
3 tbsp | brown sugar |
½ tsp | nutmeg, ground |
1 tbsp | raisins, optional |
vanilla ice cream, if desired |
Instructions
Melt the butter in a skillet or pan over medium heat. Add sugar and nutmeg, and stir until smooth.Add the apples and raisins, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender.
