Big flavor in these easy grilled chicken thighs, thanks to a great vodka marinade. They’ll stay tender on the grill when you baste them with a mustard-molasses sauce.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1/2 cup dark molasses
- 1/4 cup prepared mustard
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vodka
- 1 1/2 pounds skinless bone-in chicken thighs
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 15 mins | Extra time: 1 hour 20 mins, marinating1. Combine molasses, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour half of the marinade into another resealable plastic bag, and add the water and vodka to the second bag.
2. Place the chicken in the second bag, seal, and turn to coat. Place in refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour, refrigerating the first bag of marinade as well.
3. Preheat grill to medium and lightly oil grate. Drain chicken from marinade and let stand for 20 minutes to warm up slightly.
4. Grill chicken, covered, for about 15 minutes. Flip once, midway through cooking. When chicken has 5 more minutes to cook, baste with the first bag of marinade. Chicken is done when it is no longer pink in the middle.
