Ingredients
4 tbsp | Nam Pla (fish sauce) |
2 | limes, juice of both and 1/2 tsp grated peel |
2 | red hot Thai chili peppers, seeded and chopped |
1 tbsp | grated jaggery (unrefined cane sugar) |
4 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
2 tbsp | carrots, grated |
5 tbsp | water |
Instructions
In a mortar pestle the chilies with garlic, jaggery and the lime zest until the paste is smooth. Stir in the nam pla, lime juice, carrots and the water and mix well.Serve with rice.
