250 ml | cake flour |
1 | egg |
125 ml | milk |
1 tsp | baking powder |
½ tsp | salt |
150 ml | oil for frying |
Instructions
Sift the dry ingredients together into a bowl. Beat the egg lightly and add to the dry ingredients. Now add the milk and mix until the batter is smooth. Heat oil in a frying pan and drop tablespoonfuls of batter into the hot oil. Fry for 3 minutes turn and fry for 1 more minute on the other side.Serve hot with butter and jam.
