Ingredients

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 teaspoons Irish Cream liqueur
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon ground cloves
• 3 cups rolled oats
• 1 1/2 cups real semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation method

Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 10 mins | Extra time: 10 mins

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, mix together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy. Beat in the eggs, vanilla, and Irish cream until fluffy.
3. In another bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and cloves. Gradually beat into butter mixture. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a ungreased cookie sheets.
4. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool very slightly then remove from the sheet to a wire rack. Cool completely until storing or eating.
