Ingredients
Makes: 12 sandwiches- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup distilled white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 pounds venison, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes (or meat of your choice)
- 12 bamboo skewers, soaked in water (more as needed)
- 12 sub sandwich rolls
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 15 mins | Extra time: 3 days, marinating1. Combine the marinade ingredients in a zip-top bag with the venison cubes. Press out the air, seal, and marinate in the refrigerator for 3 days.
2. Preheat a grill for medium-high heat. Thread the meat onto skewers.
