Ingredients

  1. Potatoes – 2
  2. Peas – 1 cup
  3. Carrots – 2
  4. Cauliflower – 250 grams
  5. Yogurt – 250 grams
  6. Onion – 250 grams
  7. Cumin seeds (zeera) – ½ tsp
  8. Green cardamoms (sabz ilaichi) – 4
  9. Cloves (loung) – 4
  10. Black pepper – 1 tsp
  11. Nutmeg (jaifal) – ½ tsp
  12. Mace (jawitri) – 1 piece
  13. Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
  14. Coriander powder ( dhania powder) – 1 tsp
  15. Salt – 1 tsp
  16. Hot spices powder (garam masala) – ½ tsp
  17. Kewra – 1 tsp
  18. Oil – ½ cup

Instructions

  1. Peel potatoes and carrots and cut into squares
  2. Break off the flowers of cauliflower
  3. In pot heat oil and fry onions will brown
  4. Cool the fried onions and crush them
  5. Add onions, cumin, cardamoms, cloves, black pepper, mace, nutmeg, red chillies, coriander, and salt to the yogurt and stir
  6. Fry all vegetables in oil and add yogurt mixture and cook until oil surfaces
  7. Add a glass of water and cook on low flame until vegetables are tender
  8. Cook till a little bit of gravy is left, sprinkle hot spices and kewra and serve
