Vegetable mince bake with rice recipe details
Ingredients
150 g | rice |
1 medium | onion |
1 clove(s) | garlic |
400 g | lean beef mince |
1 tbsp | ketchup |
paprika powder | |
400 g | carrots |
350 g | courgettes |
3 medium | eggs, yolks only |
350 ml | single cream |
50 g | cheese, grated |
Instructions
Preboil the rice 10 minutes in salted water and drain.Chop or press the garlic and dice the onion and fry gently in oil. Add the mince and fry another 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, paprika powder and Ketchup.
Preheat the oven to 190°C, 375°F, Gas 5.
Mix the grated cheese into the rice and put into ovenproof dish. Add the mince on top of the rice. Grate the carrots and finely chop the courgettes and place in stripes ontop of the mince.
Mix the egg yolks with the cream and season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Cover and place into oven, bake for approximately 50 minutes.
