A flavorful, spicy bowl of hot turkey chili. You open cans and do a little cooking, but the slow cooker does most of the work. Inspired by MarshMan’s “MarshMan’s Lean Crock Pot Chili”
Ready in: 3 hours 15 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 10- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (16 ounce) jars chunky salsa
- 2 (4.5 ounce) cans chopped green chiles
- 3 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans (drained and rinsed)
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 3 hours1. Cook ground turkey and onions in a skillet until meat is browned, about 10 minutes. Pour into slow cooker.
2. Add remaining ingredients except beans to slow cooker and cook on High for 1 hour.
3. Add the beans and cook on Low for 2 hours. Serve.
