Turkey Burger Mushroom Meatloaf

This is a mushroom meatloaf that I thought up because I really wanted to make a flavorful meatloaf with turkey burger.

Ingredients
Serves: 4
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 3/4 cup chopped mushrooms, preferably portabella, divided
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs
- pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
- 1 1/2 clove fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup diced white onion
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 1 hour | Extra time: 5 mins
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Add the pound of turkey burger to a large mixing bowl along with the egg, soy sauce, 1/2 cup of the chopped mushrooms, bread crumbs, pepper, garlic powder, minced garlic, the diced onion, and the shredded carrot.
3. Spread evenly into your dish, then cover with 1 1/4 cups mushrooms and the can of cream of mushroom soup. Add pepper to taste to the top.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for one hour. It’s best to let it cool for about 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
