Tuna skewers with green apple recipe details
Ingredients
2 | green tart apples, e.g. Granny Smith |
500 g | fresh red tuna fillet |
½ | lemon |
1 bunch(es) | dill |
ginger, small piece | |
2 tbsp | light soy sauce |
1 tbsp | dark soy sauce |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
salt and black pepper | |
1 tbsp | peanut oil |
1 tbsp | black peppercorns |
Instructions
Peel and core the apples. Cut the tuna and the apples into 2 cm cubes. Squeeze the lemon and sprinkle the apples with 1 tablespoon of the lemon juice.Chop the dill and set some of the dill aside for garnishing. Grate the ginger. Combine dill and ginger with the dark and light soy sauce and the oil. Season with pepper. Marinate the tuna cubes in there for 15 minutes.
Spike on each skewer in turn tuna and apple cubes.
Sear the skewers quickly in very hot peanut oil from all sides, no longer than a minute.
Pestle the peppercorns in a mortar and sprinkle the skewers with the pepper and the remaining dill, then serve immediately.
