Tortellini and bell pepper casserole recipe details
Ingredients
300 g | Tortellini |
4 | bell peppers, 2 red and 2 green, diced |
salt and pepper | |
2 | onions, chopped |
2 tbsp | oil |
250 ml | milk |
250 ml | single cream |
4 | eggs |
100 g | grated cheese (Cheddar or Gouda) |
Instructions
Cook the tortellini in salted water until done. Drain.Preheat the oven to 190°C.
In a saucepan, heat the oil. Add the onions and bell peppers and sauté over medium heat until lucent. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer the tortellini and vegetables into a casserole. Whisk the eggs and mix with the milk and cream. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over the tortellini and bell peppers. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake for 15-20 minutes.
