Tomato tarte tatin recipe details
Ingredients
3 | beef tomatoes |
1 | zucchini |
1 | yellow bell pepper |
2 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
3 slice(s) | wholemeal toast bread |
some | Parmesan cheese |
salt | |
pepper | |
rosmary | |
some | basil leaves |
1 pack(s) | puff pastry |
some | oil |
Instructions
Soak the tomatoes in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel them. Cut the tomatoes in half and scoop out the seeds. Roast the pepper for 15 minutes in the oven then peel and chop it. Chop the zucchini.Put some oil into a pan and add the garlic, zucchini, pepper and the tomato seeds. Season to taste. Chop the bread slices and add. Mix well.
Fill the tomatoes with this vegetable mixture and put them into a greased round oven dish. Spread the rest of the vegetable mixture in between the tomatoes. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Roll out the puff pastry 1 inch bigger than the dish. Cover the vegetables with the puff pastry and tuck the dough in on the side of the dish.
Bake at 200° for approximately for 35-40 minutes. Flip over the tarte and serve hot.
