Tarte flambee with salmon recipe details
Ingredients
For the dough: | |
425 g | flour |
1 pack(s) | yeast |
250 ml | lukewarm water |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
3 tbsp | oil |
For the topping: | |
300 g | crème fraîche |
120 g | grated cheese (Cheddar or Gouda) |
½ | lime, juiced |
2 stalk(s) | leek, sliced and blanched |
250 g | smoked salmon, diced |
pepper | |
nutmeg |
Instructions
Mix together the flour, yeast, water, a pinch of salt and the oil. Knead until the dough is smooth and pliable. Allow to rise for 30 minutes.Preheat the oven to 230°C. Thinly roll out the dough on a lined baking tray.
Mix together the crème fraîche, cheese and lime juice. Season with nutmeg and pepper. Pour the sauce over the dough. Divide the leek and salmon on top. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the crust at the borders is brown and crispy.
Serve warm or cold with a glass of white wine!
