Tomatillo salsa recipe details

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 pound tomatillos, husked
- 1 jalapeno pepper, halved lengthwise and seeded
- 1/3 cup cilantro leaves
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- Salt, to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Place tomatillos and jalapeno in a skillet set over medium-high heat. Cook until soft, 8 to 10 minutes, turning every few minutes to keep the peppers from burning. Remove from heat.
2. When the tomatillo/jalapeno mixture has cooled, transfer to a food processor and add remaining ingredients. Puree for 15 to 30 seconds, until salsa reaches desired consistency.
