Tipsy red berry jam recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | strawberries, hulled and diced |
250 g | redcurrants, cleaned |
250 g | red gooseberries, cleaned and halved |
1 tsp | grated orange peel |
500 g | jam sugar |
4 tbsp | vodka |
Instructions
In a saucepan mix the berries with orange peel and the sugar. Allow to soak for 30 minutes.Bring to a boil. Boil for 4 minutes, adding the vodka in the last few seconds.
Fill into sterilized jars. Seal with screw caps and allow to cool. Store in a cool and dark place.
