Teriyaki burger recipe details

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 2 pounds ground chuck
- 1/2 cup Veri Veri(R) Teriyaki sauce with garlic
- 3 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 ounces butter
- 3 tablespoons dark rum
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 fresh pineapple, cored and cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 1 package hamburger buns
Preparation method
Prep: 30 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Add teriyaki sauce to ground beef in a mixing bowl. Toss as lightly as possible to mix. Form into 6 patties. Sprinkle kosher salt lightly on both sides. Place on plate and keep in refrigerator while making pineapple.
2. Preheat grill to High.
3. Mix butter, rum, brown sugar and ginger into a small glass bowl and heat in microwave in 30 second intervals until dissolved and well blended.
4. Brush sauce over pineapple rings and grill 3 to 4 minutes until lightly browned. Reserve remaining syrup.
5. Grill burgers until cooked to desired doneness, about 6 minutes on each side. Serve on fresh buns with slice of grilled pineapple and extra sauce as desired.Drink pairing
