Tea time dessert marshmallows recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | sugar |
2 ½ tbsp | gelatine |
1 tbsp | citric acid |
1 tsp | vanilla sugar |
1 tsp | baking soda |
Instructions
Soak the gelatine in the bowl with the 200 ml of water for about 2 hours.Put the sugar in the pan and, constantly stirring, boil it for about 7-8 minutes.
Take the sugar off the heat.
Combine the sugar and the gelatine in the bowl and whisk this combination by using the mixer for about 10 minutes. It is better to use the mixer on the small regime.
Add the citric acid and whisk this combination for about 5 minutes.
After that, add the vanilla sugar and the baking soda and whisk the dough for another 5 minutes.
Then rest the dough for 10 minutes.
Using the culinary syringe (or the spoon) lay out the dough on the baking tray. You can put the baking paper on the bottom of the tray beforehand.
Put your marshmallows in the fridge (not in the freezer) for about 3-4 hours.
