Tangy bacon and beef sauce recipe details
Ingredients
1 large can(s) | sweet corn, drained |
2 | onions, chopped |
500 g | beef mince |
100 g | bacon, diced |
2 tbsp | mixed dried herbs |
250 ml | BBQ sauce |
1 large can(s) | tomatoes, diced |
2 dash(es) | Worcestershire sauce |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
Tabasco sauce | |
6 tbsp | oil |
Instructions
In a pan, heat half of the oil and fry the corn until almost browned. Season with salt.In a saucepan, heat the remaining oil. Fry the minced meat with bacon, garlic and onions for 10-12 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in the herbs. Pour in the BBQ sauce and the tomatoes and bring to a boil. Cook for 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce.
Stir in the corn and serve.
