Ingredients
400 g | potatoes, waxy ones |
300 g | Swiss chard, stalks and leaves (you can add more if you have) |
1 | shallot |
1 tbsp | butter |
125 ml | stock (can be made from stock powder) |
200 ml | yoghurt (Greek or Turkish 10%) |
salt and black pepper | |
mace | |
1 tbsp | flour |
1 tbsp | milk |
Instructions
Peel potatoes and cut into slices of ½cm each. Separate chard leaves from stalks, cut stalks in pieces of 2cm. Chop leaves and set them aside.Heat butter and fry shallot until translucent. Add potatoes and Swiss chard stalks, stir well and steam for a minute.
Add stock and yoghurt and season with salt, pepper, and mace. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Mix flour and milk and stir to combine. Add to the potatoes, add chard leaves too. Simmer for another 10 minutes without the lid, stir regularly. Season again – and serve.
Variation:
Yoghurt can be replaced by crème fraîche.
