Fish and Cucumber with Mustard Sauce au Gratin recipe

Ingredients
500 g | coalfish |
3 tbsp | lemon juice |
salt and pepper | |
3 tbsp | butter |
2 tbsp | flour |
250 ml | milk |
1 bunch(es) | dill |
2 tbsp | hot mustard |
150 g | plain yogurt |
500 g | cucumbers |
hot paprika powder | |
2 | egg yolks |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C.Cut the fish fillets in slices, sprinkle with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Cover and keep in a cool place.
Heat 2 tbsp. of butter in a skillet and prepare a roux with the flour. Deglaze with the milk and stir until creamy and smooth.
Chop the dill and stir half of it into the béchamel. Add the yoghurt and the mustard and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Peel the cucumbers and cut in ½ cm slices. Heat the remaining butter and sauté the cucumbers shortly. Season with salt, pepper, paprika and the remaining dill.
Place the cucumbers in a greased casserole dish. Stir the egg yolks into the sauce, then spoon some of the sauce over the cucumbers. Arrange the fish on top and cover with the remaining sauce.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes.
