sweet potato souffle recipe details
- Ingredients
- One 29-ounce can sweet potatoes, drained
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Topping:
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Mash potatoes with a mixer, add rest of the ingredients (except topping), and mix until well-blended. Spread in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Mix topping ingredients together until well blended (will be stiff and crumbly). Spread over sweet potato mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
