Ingredients
2 tbsp | clarified butter |
500 g | rump steak, thinly sliced |
salt and pepper | |
4 | onions |
1 kg | potatoes |
200 g | crème fraîche |
1 tsp | flour |
2 | eggs |
30 g | butter |
2 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
Instructions
In a shallow pan, heat the clarified butter and shortly sauté over high heat the thinly sliced rump steak. Remove from the skillet and season with salt and pepper.Cut the onions in rings and sauté in the pan.
Peel the potatoes, cut in slices and divide one layer of potatoes on the bottom of a greased casserole dish. Then layer in turn the meat, onions and potatoes, ending with a layer of potatoes. Season each layer with salt and pepper.
Whisk the Crème fraîche with the flour and the eggs, season and pour the sauce over the casserole. Divide the butter in flakes on top. Bake at 200°C for 1 hour.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
