Ingredients
1 | swede, 800g- 1kg |
200 g | potatoes |
200 g | low-fat curd cheese |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
marjoram, leaves of 2-3 stems, chopped | |
2 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
40 g | breadcrumbs |
margarine |
Instructions
Wash, peel and roughly grate the swedes.Boil the potatoes in their skin until cooked, then peel and finely grate.
In a saucepan heat the margarine and cook the swede for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let the swede cool until just lukewarm and then stir into the grated potatoes. Add the cheese and mix thoroughly. Season to taste with salt, pepper and herbs.
Form the mixture to fritters and turn them in the breadcrumbs.
Heat some margarine in a pan and fry the fritters over gentle heat on each side until golden brown.
