Ingredients
Serves: 32- 1 cup softened margarine
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups corn flakes
- 2 cups puffed wheat
- 1 cup dried shredded coconut or sunflower kernals
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and lightly coat 2 or 3 baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In large mixing bowl, cream together the margarine and sugars. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
3. In separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir these ingredients into the sugar mixture.
4. In a large roasting pan or very large mixing bowl, combine oats, corn flakes, puffed wheat, and coconut. Pour the dough mixture over the oats mixture and combine with hands.
5. Drop dough by tablespoons onto baking sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
