This tasty salsa recipe is quick to prepare and tastes a lot like a very popular Mexican restaurant in Southern New Mexico.

Ingredients
Serves: 8- 2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup Snap-E-Tom(R) Tomato Cocktail Juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro
- 1 (4 ounce) can fire-roasted diced green chiles
- 4 fresh tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup diced white onion
- 4 to 8 jalapenos, diced (depending on how hot you like it!)
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 30 mins | Extra time: 30 mins, chilling1. Combine crushed tomatoes, tomato juice, salt, garlic salt, green chiles, and cilantro in a large stock pot. Then add tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos.
2. Simmer on medium-low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Chill for 30 minutes and serve.Spice Note
The smaller you dice the jalapenos, the hotter the salsa will be in the end.
