stuffed fish with onions and honey recipe details
Ingredients1. Clear honey (2tbsp)
2. Sea bass fillets (4)
3. bay leaves (2)
4. lemon halved (1)
5. thyme (1sprig)
6. rosemary (1sprig)
7. white wine vinegar (2tbsp)
8. olive oil (5tbsp)
9. thinly sliced onions (3large)
10. salt and pepper (to taste)
Method of preparation
1. First heat a barbecue or grill. Take a pan, heat half of the oil in the pan and then cook the onion in it until they get brown and caramelized. Add honey and white wine vinegar to the onion and season with salt and pepper.
2. Take foil and lay 2 pieces of foil on top of each other horizontally on the work surface. Now lay the 2 pieces of foil vertically on the top of those to make a cross shape. Now lay the sea bass fillets on the foil.
3. Stuff the fish with onion mixture, bay leaves, thyme and rosemary. Add salt and pepper and then squeeze lemon juice from the lemon halves. Then leave the squeezed lemon halves in the foil.
4. Drizzle the remaining oil and them wrap the fish in the foil. Now grill the foil parcel for about 20 minutes or until the fish gets cooked.
