Steamed Chocolate Pudding with Chocolate Sauce recipe

|For the pudding:|
|85 g||plain chocolate, grated, use best quality possible|
|85 g||self-raising flour|
|125 g||unsalted butter|
|30 g||cocoa powder|
|125 g||caster sugar|
|milk, to mix|
|For the sauce:|
|175 g||dark chocolate, roughly chopped|
|3 tbsp||double cream|
|3 tbsp||golden syrup|
To make the pudding:
Mix flour, butter, cocoa, sugar and eggs in a bowl. Add sufficient milk to bring to a soft dropping consistency. Stir in the grated chocolate.
Transfer to a microwave-proof bowl and level the top. Cover tightly with cling film and pierce the film. Microwave for about 4-5 minutes depending on power. Test with a skewer if done.
Allow to rest for about 2 minutes before serving.
To make the sauce:
Place all ingredients into a microwave-proof bowl and heat on high power for 2-3 minutes or until the chocolate has just melted. Do not overheat as the sauce may spoil. Remove from microwave and whisk until smooth.
Pour over pudding and serve with cream.
