Ingredients
1 pack(s) | creamed spinach, frozen and thawed |
1 pack(s) | leaf spinach, frozen and thawed |
400 ml | milk |
400 g | lasagna sheets |
1 pack(s) | blue cheese, diced |
1 pack(s) | cream cheese |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
150 g | freshly grated Parmesan cheese |
salt and pepper | |
nutmeg | |
1 tbsp | butter |
Instructions
In a saucepan heat the milk with the blue cheese and cream cheese. Simmer over low heat until the cheese has melted. Season to taste with pepper and nutmeg. Set aside.Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a saucepan, heat the butter and sauté the garlic for a minute. Add the creamed spinach and the leaf spinach. Cook over low heat until thoroughly hot. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
In a buttered shallow casserole dish, layer the spinach, cheese sauce, lasagna sheets, spinach, sauce, lasagna and so on until all ingredients are used up. The last layer should be cheese sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes.
