Ingredients
400 g | rice |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
2 medium | onion, chopped |
3 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 tbsp | jalapeno peppers, finely chopped |
500 ml | vegetable broth |
¾ tsp | cumin, ground |
2 tbsp | fresh cilantro, minced |
salt, to taste |
Instructions
Pour oil in a saucepan and sauté onion and garlic until tender.Add rice, jalapeños, broth, and cumin to saucepan and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or rice is tender and all liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat, stir in cilantro and add salt to taste.
