Ingredients
1 | onion, finely chopped |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
1 | capsicum, red, finely diced |
2 clove(s) | garlic, finely chopped |
2 tbsp | tomato paste |
1 tsp | vinegar, red wine |
½ tbsp | flour |
250 ml | chicken stock |
some | sea salt |
some | black pepper, freshly grounded |
some | paprika powder |
some | chili powder |
3 tbsp | gherkins, finely chopped |
Instructions
Sauté onion in olive oil until it starts to become golden brown.Add capsicum, garlic, tomato paste and vinegar and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
Add flour, stir and pour in the stock.
Simmer for about 20 minutes, stir from time to time.
Finally add the gherkins.
This sauce goes very well with pork schnitzel, rissoles, chips or rice.
