Ingredients
2 tbsp | butter or margarine |
120 g | pecan halves |
180 g | whole almonds |
150 g | dry-roasted peanuts, unsalted |
1 tsp | chilli powder |
1 tsp | garlic salt |
½ tsp | cayenne pepper |
some | Worcestershire sauce, to taste |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 150°C.Place butter into a 22 cm baking pan and then set the pan in the oven to melt the butter.
Remove the pan from the oven and add pecans, almonds, peanuts, and Worcestershire sauce to the melted butter. Stir until well mixed.
Bake the nut mixture until it is toasted for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove the nuts from the oven and sprinkle the mixture evenly with chilli powder, garlic salt, and cayenne pepper. Toss until well mixed.
Seasoning can be adjusted to personal taste and preference.
